Well, the competition is over and the a decision made. Due to the quality of photos I decided on three prizes.

As I featured in a few photos I decided to let my girlfriend decide on which photos she liked the best.

And the winners are:

To the winners each goes a whale watching ticket each. There was originally meant to only be two winners, but because of the number of good shots I decided to donate a third ticket, and there could easily have been a fourth or fifth.

Now this is not how to win my favour ... no names will be mentioned will they David.

Due to the number and size of photos I've made a dedicated gallery for them.

You are invite to participate in the HKO Japan 2009 Photo Competition.

Each person can submit up to three (3) of their best/favourite photographs from the trip. From these one will be picked by 'yours truly' as the best photo of the trip.

I should add at this stage that I am very open to bribes and favours.

Now a prize has not yet been decided upon, but it will be a really good one, so get those photos in.

To make it easier for me could you name the photographs 'your name' 1, 2 or 3 please. (substituting 'your name' for your 'actual name'. I don't want to see any 'Actual Name 1' photos from those of you who were thinking of doing that, I want to see 'your name' (Oh no, we're back to that again), the name that currently appears on your license or other legal documents ... I hope that's clear? ... :-)

Please put your mind to the up coming August visit of about 40+ from Handa to Port Macquarie. We will be needing homestay accommodation, activities and help, both fund raising and hands on assistance. So if you can help or have any ideas for good activities let us know.
